Lake of Bays announces Spring Maple Belgian Blonde Ale

lob-spring-mapleLake of Bays Brewing of Baysville has announced the February release of their new seasonal Spring Maple Belgian Blonde Ale, in partnership with the Ontario Maple Syrup Producers Association.

Celebrating the early Spring flowing of sap in Ontario’s maple trees, the 7% ABV ale is brewed with Belgian yeast, sweet malt, Noble hops and Ontario maple syrup. Notes of maple, hazelnut, vanilla and caramel compliment the amber hue, alongside aromas of cherry and spice. Caramelized apples and nutmeg are apparent in the finish.

Spring Maple Belgian Blonde Ale will be available February 1, 2013 in 750mL bottles at the brewery and LCBO, and on draught and cask.
