Twelve Barrels Whisky now available at LCBO

Napanee – The flagship Canadian Whisky from Twelve Barrels is now available at the LCBO.

Founder Cole Miller explains he sources and blends whisky from a range of Canadian distilleries – 40% wheat whisky aged in seasoned white oak, 35% corn whisky aged in American white oak, and 25% American rye aged in New American oak.

“Twelve Barrels is based on a Canadian Whisky first distilled in 1853, on the shores of the Napanee River,” writes Miller. “John Meagher, the distiller we base our recipe off of, and ‘George the Jumpers’ dad, was a gristmill owner in Napanee.”

The whisky has already earned the Canadian Whisky Awards’ 2017 Domestic Market – Value Whisky of the year and 2017 Bronze media.

It is available in 750ml bottles now at the LCBO in Napanee for $35.20, and rolling out to LCBOs across Ontario.

Miller intends to open a distillery in the Greater Napanee Area in the future.
