Amber Ale seasonal returns from Beer Academy

beer-academy-amberToronto, ON – Beer Academy today announced its seasonal Amber Ale will return in March with a specialty launch featuring food by Caplansky’s Deli.

Beer Academy’s Amber Ale, back for its second year, measures at 6.1% ABV with 73 IBUs using three malts along with CTZ, Mosaic and Cascade hops.

“Amber shows vibrant mahogany colours and a sturdy foam cap holding in West Coast influenced hop aromas of citrus zest, tropical fruit, and spice,” describes head brewer Stephen Rich.

“Gentle caramel and toffee floats in behind with balanced sweetness. Flavour sensations are clean and refreshing with savoury malt and brisk hops in perfect unison; grapefruit peel, mango, passion fruit and citrus matches light brown sugar perfectly.”

Food pairings offered include tomato-based pastas, grilled meat, and full-flavoured cheeses, and also burgers, pizza, and cheesecake.

Amber Ale launches Friday, March 14 during Beer Academy’s Pub Night during which Caplanski’s food truck will be on hand.
