Amsterdam’s Tempest Imperial Stout headed to LCBO
Toronto’s Amsterdam Brewing Co.’s Tempest Imperial Stout is heading to select LCBOs (#291100) on Monday, October 22, with a limited run of just over 13,00 bottles.
Available in 500mL bottles for $5.95 each, Tempest Imperial Stout features rye, wheat, oats, roasted barley, dark crystal, marris otter and chocolate malts mixed with warrior, centennial, and cascade hops, yielding 100 IBUs. Tempest has a bracing bitterness that quickly blends with deep malt notes and a slight spiciness from the rye malt, and has been cellared for 3 months prior to bottling.
Amsterdam’s retail store will also carry 500mL bottles, which will keep well up to 3 years if cellared properly.
