Bamboo Beer offers a unique spin on craft beer in Ontario
A novel approach to beer in Ontario has been undertaken by Bamboo Beer Ltd. of Stoney Creek who are harnessing bamboo as their key ingredient.
Bamboo Beer was spawned by sister company Ontario Bamboo, whom cultivate 10,000 bamboo plants annually in their Stoney Creek greenhouse.
After partnering with Trafalgar Ales & Meads in Oakville to perfect their recipes, manufacturing licenses are now in place and the final stages of artwork and listing with the LCBO are nearing finalization.
Owner Vincent Villanis eluded to three initial product offerings including an ale that will clock in at 5.7% ABV, and also a lager, and light lager.
