Beau’s gets Collaboration Nation win, Spearhead takes Best Brewery at SESSION
Attendees of the fourth annual SESSION Craft Beer Festival cast their votes this past Saturday, June 22 selecting winners of the inagaural Collaboration Nation and Best Brewery.
Beau’s All Natural Brewing of Vankleek Hill teamed up with comedian Tom Green to produce The Tom Green Beer, a milk stout, which took home the Collaboration Nation win, edging out 19 other teams.
The LCBO last week announced a partnership would be inked with the winner of SESSION’s Collaboration Nation, earning them a distribution deal for the winning beer having it sold at the chain’s top stores.
“Congratulations to Beau’s All Natural Brewing Company! on “The Tom Green Beer”, winner of Session Toronto’s Best Collaboration Beer,” said Leanne Rhee, LCBO’s Category Manager Beer & Cider. “We are pleased that we will be working together to bring this product to customers in our top-selling craft beer stores around the province this fall.”
Spearhead Brewing Co., for the third time in as many years, took home the Best Brewery.
