Beau’s Two Weeks Notice German porter returns for Oktoberfest
This October, Vankleek Hill’s Beau’s All Natural Brewing will re-introduce its German-style porter, Two Weeks Notice, at its annual Oktoberfest.
The 6% ABV porter, originally brewed to compete with the London-style porter, employs a lager yeast alongside dark, roasted malts.
“The roasted barley provides chocolate flavours and the malt sweetness is complimented by a finely balanced bitterness”, says Beau’s.
Two Weeks Notice, the 12th iteration of Beau’s now 31-strong Wild Oats Series, was was designed by Okanagan Spring brewer, Brad Wright, exclusively for Beau’s Oktoberfest.
