Because Beer Craft Beer Festival comes to Hamilton this JulyTweet
Hamilton, ON – The first annual Because Beer Craft Beer Festival will take place at Pier 4 Park in Hamilton, ON on Friday, July 11, 2014 and Saturday, July 12, 2014, featuring 20 craft brewers, a BJCP-sanctioned homebrew competition, live music, guest speakers, and food trucks.
“It is aimed at anyone who is interested in enjoying and discovering craft beer – from beer aficionados to the casual beer drinker or beer lover,” say organizers. “The festival will provide a unique opportunity to sample a variety of craft beers, interact with the brewers who create the product, listen to live music and informative guest speakers, and enjoy a meal from a variety of local food trucks.”
Special guest speakers include Certified Cicerone Crystal Luxmore and Ontario Beer Co. partners Brad Clifford, Michael Duggan, and Hugh Brown. Participating food trucks so far include Portobello Burger, Gorilla Cheese, Pappas Greek, Southern Smoke, the Salted Pig, and Urban Express
Admission is $25 per day with a two-day pass available for $40. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or on the day of at the festival gate. Admission includes a tasting mug and four sample tokens, while the two-day pass adds an addition six sample tokens. Extra tokens are $1 each.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday March 19, 2014 at 12.
