Beer Academy announces new Double IPA
Toronto, ON – Beer Academy will release this week its new Double IPA, brewed with Pale Malt, Carapils, Crystal 15, Honey Malt and with Citra, Mosaic and Cascade hops finishing at 8.6% ABV.
“Double IPA is a purpose built hop-bomb pushing the limits of hopping in our little brewery. We put hops in the boil kettle, the fermenter, and twice in the conditioning tank!” says Beer Academy’s header brewer, Stephen Rich.
“Zesty citrus and tropical aromas of grapefruit, orange peel and passionfruit push the aroma and reflect in the flavour,” adds Rich. “The first sip will prove that malt is only here to support a big hop bitterness and loads of hoppy flavours from front to back. “
It launches Wednesday, May 14 2014 at Beer Academy available in 625mL bottles.
