Beer Academy closes, to reopen Fall 2015 under new identity
Toronto, ON – The craft beer arm of Molson Coors Canada is now closed – after two-and-a-half years at 75 Victoria Street, Beer Academy shut its doors on December 31, 2014.
Molson Coors has announced it plans to revamp the space under a new identity slated for a Fall 2015 re-opening.
Reports claim a brewpub under the Creemore Springs banner could take its place, although unconfirmed.
The brewery, formerly occupied by Duggan’s Brewery and Denison’s Brewery, was headed by brewer Todd Fowler who was later succeeded by Stephen Rich, who is said to stay on as head brewer under the new brand.
