Beer lessons in a can from Niagara College
Niagara-on-the-Lake – Niagara College Teaching Brewery has launched its new Beer 101 series, coinciding with the college’s move to the 473ml can format.
“Every Beer 101 will come with a lesson about the history, bitterness, colour, alcohol content, ingredients, aroma, flavour, mouthfeel, and the typical food pairings for each particular type of beer,” says the college.
As of today, its lager, pale ale, pilsner, IPA, and stout are available at its retail store.
On deck are Vienna lager, strong ale, saison, porter, bock and bitter.
