Bellwoods announces release of No Rest For The Wicked sour stout
Toronto, ON – Bellwoods Brewery today announced the upcoming bottle release of its Brett barrel-aged sour stout, No Rest For The Wicked.
“No Rest For The Wicked is a distant cousin of No Sleep Till Brooklyn, a collaboration beer we did with Jeppe of Evil Twin/Tørst almost a year and a half ago,” says Bellwoods Brewery. “Because we love the interplay of tart and roasty so much, we decided to brew a similar style, this time with a revamped malt body and more bugs!”
Aged six months, No Rest For The Wicked measures at 9.5% AV with notes of cocoa, sour cherry, and brett-derived aromatics.
It goes on sale Friday, May 9 2014 at Bellwoods Brewery at $10 per 500mL bottles in a limited-run of 2000 bottles.
