Beyond the Pale Brewing plans move to new 8,000 sq-ft facility
Ottawa, ON – Beyond the Pale Brewing Co. will move from its current 5,000 sq-ft facility to a 8,000 sq-ft space less than 2km away, according to the Ottawa Business Journal.
A new 15 bbl (~18 hectolitre) brewhouse will be installed, moving up from their current 3.5 bbl (4 hectolire) system, quadrupling production. The brewery, which originally opened its doors in November 12, expanded in May 2013 with help from Vankleek Hill brewery, Beau’s All Natural.
“The company, whose product is now poured at about 45 pubs in the Ottawa area, sells nearly 15,000 litres of beer a month at bars and its retail outlet on Hamilton Avenue,” says the Ottawa Business Journal. “Mr. Clark said if all goes well, Beyond the Pale will be ready to start marketing its brew at the LCBO by early in 2015.”
Thew new facility is slated to open in August 2014.
