Bicycle Craft Brewery confirms September opening in Ottawa
Ottawa, ON – Bicycle Craft Brewery this week solidified plans to open its new Ottawa brewery this coming weekend at its 12-850 Industrial Ave. location.
“It started with a home brew kit, a passion for craft beer and a love for creating something delicious out of basic, natural ingredients. Our love for the outdoors, travel and sampling the flavours of the world, kick-started our interest in craft beer,” say husband and wife founders, Fariborz and Laura Behzadi.
The name comes from the pair’s admiration for nature. “Our love for the outdoors, the City of Ottawa, and an appreciation for tradition inspired our name and our vision for our brewery, and we hope to bring that experience to you – enjoying life with good beer, good fun and fresh air!” says Behzadi in an interview with Ottawa Beer Events.
After nearly three years in the planning stages, the brewery will feature a large tasting room and launch with four core brands including Velocipede IPA, Abyss Chocolate Stout, Belle River Blonde, and Base Camp Oatmeal Porter
Doors open 11am-7pm this Saturday September 20, 2014.
