New Hamburg – Bitte Schön Brauhaus today announced its new brewery is set to open this Saturday October 15, 2016 at 68 Huron St in New Hamburg – a small community in rural Waterloo.

The brewery is a collaborative effort by New Hamburg local Marie Voisin and the founders of Kitchener’s Descendants Beer & Beverage Co. – Robin Molloy and Lee Brooks.

The name Bitte Schön translates to “you’re welcome ” in German. “We wanted a name that reflects the town of New Hamburg. The slogan on the welcome sign as you drive into New Hamburg says ‘You’re Welcome’,” say the founders.

German-style beer will be the focus of the new brewery offered through its tasting bar and sold through retail in bottles and growlers.
