Hello Beer Lovers!
Four insanely talented and award winning home brewers, eight varied and delicious beers, one surprise home brew and over 40 curious and enthusiastic imbibers … The inaugural Brauhaus was a fantastic start to our new event series celebrating Ontario home brewers. Just ask one of our guests, Peter Allison, from Innis & Gunn in Edinburgh, Scotland who said unequivocally: “This is the best beer event I’ve ever been to.”
Brauhaus believes that some of the most talented beer makers can be found perfecting their craft in the kitchens, garages, backyards and basements of Ontario homes. It was time to bring these artisanal brews out of hiding to be shared with curious beer drinkers everywhere. As guests of the first Brauhaus, we are sure you agreed.

Zack WeinbergBrauhaus would also like to thank Mary Beth Keefe from Granite Brewery, our guest pro brewer, for attending and providing her perspective and advice to our home brewers and guests…. From off-the wall brews like a Gose (a German ale brewed with salt), Rye IPA, Curry Brown Ale, Cranberry Ale to traditional styles like the Belgian Pale Ale, IPA, Amber, Porter and Pale Ale, your beers were a big hit with everyone in attendance.
Finally, a heart felt thank you to all of our friends, family and beer-drinking mates that came out to support the first ever Brauhaus! We’ll be announcing our next event date soon, and we’ll be moving to a bigger — but still cozy — space so that we can open up the invite to beer lovers and brewers everywhere.
