Breakwall Brewing in Port Colborne now open

Port Colborne – Breakwall Brewing Co. opens 4:30pm on Thursday February 22, 2018 at 48 Clarence St in the City of Port Colborne on Lake Erie in Niagara Region.

The nearly 5,000 sq-ft brewery and restaurant, founded by Fred and Monica Davies, features a 160-seat kitchen, outdoor patio, and retail store offering beer growlers and cans.

“We wanted to be a true representation of our heritage and landed on that truly iconic Port Colborne historic site, the Gravelly Bay breakwall,” said the Davies. “That breakwall has protected our community and marine industry for over 180 years. What better way to honour our history than by putting it on a local beer bottle?”

Beers at launch include Breakwall’s 9 O’clock Whistle IPA, Shrinking Mill Pale Ale, Sailors Saison, and Hopkins Tomb Stout.

Operating hours are Wed-Mon 11:30am-close.
