Brothers Brewing to launch in Pelham this April

brothers-brewingPelham, ON – A new craft brewery – Brothers Brewing Co. –  is slated to launch this April in Pelham, founded by brothers Asa and Colton Proveau.

Asa Coulton is a graduate of Niagara College’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations program, and currently a brewer at Musoka Brewery while his brother, Colton, has experience working with Sawdust City Brewing Co.

The pair will initially brew on contract, but plan to move their own 2.4 hectolire (2 bbl) brewhouse to their contract brewery’s facilities.

“Having been born and raised in Pelham, we want our brewery to be more than just a manufacturing facility, we want to create something that the community can relate to and pride themselves in,” says Brothers Brewing. “We plan on working with local businesses, sourcing local ingredients (where possible), and giving opportunities to local talent for packaging design, advertising, etc. Pelham has a lot to offer, we want to express that through beer.”

Brothers Brewing launches this Saturday, April 19 2014 at Iggy’s Pub & Grub in Fonthill, ON with its Batch 1 Tandem Pale Ale beginning at 6pm.
