Burdock Brewery launches beer line this August
Toronto, ON – Burdock Brewery & Music Hall today announced it will begin serving a selection of its in-house brewed beers this month.
Burdock first opened in March 2015 as music venue & restaurant in Toronto’s west end on Bloor St. near Dufferin Ave.
Brewer Matt Park says, “We’re trying to focus on sourcing as much as we can from Ontario. We have a few beers already, out of the first six, that are all Ontario hops and we’re also working with a new Ontario yeast company. We’re trying to keep things, kind of like our kitchen does, as seasonal and as local as we can.”
Brewer Siobhan McPherson, previously of Amsterdam Brewing and Mill St., says, “It’s traditional approaches and ingredients, just in non-traditional combinations.”
Six beers will be available initially including a West Coast Pilsner, California Common, IPA, Saison, Grisette, and Summer Stout.
Burdock’s beer lineup launches officially on Friday August 21, 2015.
