Burdock to release Orange Wine Saison from barrel program

Toronto – Burdock Brewery today announced it will release the first beer in its barrel aging program this week – Orange Wine Saison.

At 6.5%, the mixed-fermentation Saison was aged for six months in a 2014 Orange Wine barrel from Southbrook Vineyards in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

It will be released on Thursday, April 28 2016 at 5pm in both 500ml and 750ml bottles for $10 and $15, respectively.
