Cameron’s Boreal Inspired Wild Ale now at LCBO
Oakville – Cameron’s Brewing Co. said today its new Boreal Forest-inspired Wild Ale is now available at the LCBO and brewery.
“Literally, the possibilities are endless when it comes to finding ingredients to make complex and delicious craft beer. This time we picked a blend of truly unique ingredients native to the boreal forest. Cameron’s Boreal Inspired Wild Ale is brewed with rye malt, piney hops, juniper berries and hand-foraged cloudberries from Quebec,” states Curtis Jeffrey, Head Brewer.
Brewed with rye malt and pine-forward hops with wild yeast then matured in oak foeders with juniper berries and cloudberries, Boreal Inspired Wild Ale weighs in at 7%
“The result is a complex balance of pine, juniper and wild yeast funk drifting in and out of the cloudberry, white wine and bubble gum essence. The soft spiciness from the rye harmonizes with the foeder’s oak presence and adds a subtle tangy finish,” adds Cameron’s.
It is available now at both the LCBO and brewery retail store in 473ml cans for $4.95 each.
