Cask Days Beer Festival returns to Toronto in October

Toronto – The fourteenth annual Cask Days Beer Festival returns to Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto on October 19-21, 2018 celebratng cask ale – unpasteurized, unfiltered, and naturally carbonated beer served directly from the cask.

This year, the family-run festival will feature over 400 beers and ciders from both Canadian and American producers.

Highlights for 2018 include:

Brewers Seminars– educational seminars by industry leaders including Kevin Martin, Director of Brewing Operations of Cascade Brewing Company in Oregon, and Tim Adams, Founder and Head Brewer of Oxbow Brewing Company in Maine (Friday afternoon session)

Real Talk! Panel, – beer experts along with festival co-founder Ralph Morana discuss the history and evolution of cask ale during an interactive Q&A (Saturday morning session).

Casktails Draft Bar – curated cocktails served from a cask by Dillon’s Distillery and Michael Webster.

Natural Wine – presented by the Grape Witches.

Live Brewing – hosted by Toronto Brewing Co.

Volo Cellar – a secret bar featuring bottle pours of Birreria Volo’s favourite lambics, including Brasserie Cantillon.

Food Stations – featuring Birreria Volo, El Rey Mezcal Bar, Harry’s Charbroiled, PG Clucks, and Tennessee Tavern.

Volo Beer Garden –  a family-friendly event, with onsite representation and activities from charitable partner, Unity.

Special Transportation & Accommodation – Special hotel rates at the Marriot and bus transportation to Cask Days from Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Kitchener, Barrie, and Hamilton.
