Catapult Brewing launches first beer

Toronto – The first beer from Catapult Brewing Co. – an American-style pale ale – has begun rolling out to bars, pubs, and restaurants in Toronto.

Husband and wife team John Thompson and Sherry Lin are behind the new contract brewery.

Thompson says, “We love how food and drink bring people together and our beer is no exception.  Catapult Brewing is our way of celebrating family gatherings, backyard BBQs, weekend getaways and neighbourhood street parties. Our mission is to create hand-crafted beer, that reflect who we are. Let us celebrate with you, one delicious drink at a time.”

A Kolsch is planned to launch this June, while a bricks-and-mortar brewery is being targeted for east Toronto in the future.

Catapult APA (5.25%) is available now at The Shore Leave and Woody’s Burgers in Toronto, followed by Local 1794, Sauce, Hi-Lo, and more this weekend.

A launch party is scheduled for Saturday April 28, 2018 at Sauce  starting at 4pm.
