Craft Beer Passport launches in Ottawa

Ottawa – Craft Beer Passport announced today that their app has officially launched in Ottawa.

“Visit any of the participating establishments on your Passport and be rewarded with a 12oz. craft beer for only $2 (the legal minimum price) and a digital stamp left by your server to prove that you really went the distance! The app’s custom map makes it easy to find the next closest stop, the best route to your #favourite bar or brewery, or to plan an evening bar crawl through parts of town you rarely get to visit.

Current participating breweries and venues include:

Big Rig Brewery
Covered Bridge Brewing
Dominion City Brewing
Flora Hall Brewing
Hintonburg Public House
Stray Dog Brewing
Vimy Brewing
Waller Street Brewing
Whiprsnapr Brewing

Since launching in 2014, the program has gone fully mobile with Android and iOS apps, and has already expanded from Toronto to Hamilton.

“Craft Beer Passport is excited to extend our program to the better beer bars and craft breweries of Ottawa,” says Mike Stulberg, Founder of Craft Beer Passport,”Ottawa has a thriving craft beer scene and we are committed to helping craft beer drinkers from within Ottawa and across the province discover it using our app!”
