Dominion City Brewing takes on buck-a-beer in unique way
Ottawa- Dominion City Brewing Co. is taking on Premier Doug Ford’s buck-a-beer challenge – but instead of offering a beer for one dollar, the Ottawa brewery will donate $1.00 from their upcoming Buck-A-Beer Blond Ale to support refugee integration in Ottawa.
“As an independently-owned brewery, we can tell you unequivocally that it is impossible to sell a beer for a dollar without compromising quality,” says Dominion City. “So, we’ve decided to respond to Ontario’s buck-a-beer challenge in our own way – by inviting our customers to help refugees build a new life in Ottawa.”
Buck-A-Beer Blond Ale will be released at the brewery and through their online shop starting Thursday August 30, 2018.
