Dominion City quadruples capacity after only 5 months
Ottawa, ON – After only five months of operation, Ottawa’s Dominion City Brewing Co. announced today it will quadruple it’s brewing capacity in 2015.
The brewery originally opened in mid-August 2014 with a 33hl (hectolitres) capacity which is now increasing to 140hl.
“We are so grateful to our customers,” says Dominion City co-founder Josh McJannett. “We have an amazing family of pouring partners across the city, a growing wait list of interested restaurants and bars, and we regularly sell out at our bottle shop on Canotek Road. We want to respond to the community’s loyalty by keeping up with demand.”
“Sourcing as many ingredients as possible close to home, the brewery’s beer features everything from pumpkins grown in Manotick, to hops grown by small Ontario producers, to heirloom organic specialty grains grown and milled right here in the Ottawa Valley,” McJannett adds.
