Durham brewers launching collab beer and new tour
Durham – Three brewers based in Durham are banding together to release a new collaborative Black IPA and a regional brewery tour.
Old Flame Brewing in Port Perry together with 5 Paddles Brewing of Whitby and Manantler Brewing from Bowmanville have concocted Dark Knights of Durham Black IPA.
Each brewery contributed to the recipe – which will be brewed at Old Flame, according to Durhamregion.com.
Coinciding with the advent of the collab is the Durham Knights Brewery Tour, expected to launch in late Winter or early Spring 2016, promoting each brewery.
“There are all kinds of different envi ronments that people can produce beer in This tour will give a full spectrum of the brewery business,” says Jack Doak of Old Flame Brewing to Durhamregion.com. “We all benefit with the promotion of craft beer We re all working together to get more market share for craft beers”.
A release date for the beer was not immediately available.
