Toronto brewpub in works by Luc ‘Bim’ Lafontaine

Toronto – Highly-regarded Canadian brewmaster Luc ‘Bim” Lafontaine is on track to open an 6,000 sq-ft east-end Toronto brewpub, according to Ben Johnson.

Lafontaine, who previously brewed for renowned Quebec brewery Dieu du Ciel!, has secured space at 242 Coxwell Ave at Gerrard St set to house a 20 hectolitre brewhouse and 140-seat restaurant area, according to Johnson.

A 2016 opening is anticipated.
