Fiveward Dry Gin out soon from Yongehurst Distillery
Toronto – Fiveward Dry Gin is hitting shelves at Yongehurst Distillery this weekend, preceding a 2018 release at the LCBO – the distillery’s first.
The dry gin uses no added sugar and is infused with Ontario-foraged juniper, angelica root, coriander seed, and home-grown orris root along with fresh-foraged elderflower, camomile, and lavender .
“Fiveward Gin, named after the five wards that transitioned the Town of York into the City of Toronto in 1834,” explain the distillers. “This Gin is as close to a reflection of Ontario’s terroir as has ever been made.”
It will be sold in 750ml bottles starting Saturday, December, 2017 at 12pm (cash only).
