Fixed Gear Brewing opens this weekend in Guelph
Guelph – Fixed Gear Brewing Co. officially opens Thanksgiving weekend – Friday, October 5, 2018 – in Guelph at 20 Alma Street South, following soft opening this past weekend.
Housed in a former garage, the 4000 sq-ft brewery – founded by Mike Oosterveld -is named for Guelph’s avid cycling culture – features a 10 hectolitre brewhouse, retail store, and tap room.
Fixed Gear’s beer lineup – produced by head brewer Mike May – currently includes a blonde ale, pilsner, milkshake IPA, IPA, cherry and pineapple sours, stout, and an APA.
Operating hours are Thur-Sat 11am-9pm, Sun 12-15pm. The brewery plans to expand their hours to six days per week in the future.
