Formosa Springs Brewery reopens
Formosa – Nine months after its sale by Brick Brewing Co., Formosa Springs Brewery has reopened under new ownership in the town of Formosa in Bruce County at 1 Old Brewery Lane.
The brewery – built originally in 1870 – was sold for $2.4 million in September 2017.
According to SouthWesternOntario.ca, the brewery is selling through its retail store Formosa Springs draft, Red Baron blond lager, Red Baron Lime, and Red Baron Platinum Light, and plans to have employed 20-30 people by mid-summer – most of them returning Brick employees.
Operating hours are Thu-Sat 11am-6pm and Sun 11am-4pm.
