Gananoque Brewing expanding with $60K grant
Gananoque, ON – A grant of $60,000 from the 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation has been awarded to Gananoque Brewing Co.
Contingent on the brewery also raising matching funds of $60,000, the grant would allow for a new canning system to be installed at the brewery, moving more of its brewing production to Gananoque from Niagara’s Best Brewery in Niagara Falls.
The Gananoque brewery produces 1500 hectolitres annually, which could be increased by up to 40%.
Additionally, the funds would help create four new full-time jobs. The brewery currently employs twelve.
