Great Lakes collabs with Councillor Norm Kelly for Brewers Plate

Etobicoke – Great Lakes Brewery today announced a new collaboration beer to be brewed with Toronto City Councillor and former Acting Mayor, Norm Kelly.

A hop-forward Pilsner, the beer will debut at the Brewer’s Plate in May, with proceeds donated to War Child Canada.

“We are thrilled to be working with Councillor Norm Kelly for this years Brewers Plate,” stated Peter Bulut, Owner and President of GLB. “It’s such a great event with a great cause and we’re excited to get the Councillor into the brewhouse to craft up his own unique beer.”

“The brewery loves the Councillor’s enthusiasm in his approach to his work at City Hall, his social media presence, and his deep love for the city of Toronto. Since we go about our business in the same manner, we thought this partnership makes sense and we couldn’t be happier to have the Councillor’s full support in making this happen,” added Bulut.

The Brewers Plate, and unlimited sampling event, goes down May 18, 2016 at Corus Quay in Toronto.
