Great Lakes releases My Bitter Wife IPA to LCBO
Etobicoke, ON’s Great Lakes Brewery has said they will release their Tank Ten series IPA, My Bitter Wife, to LCBOs in April.
Tank Ten is a tangent of Great Lakes’ Project X series, named for the dedicated fermentation tank used for experimental beers.
My Bitter Wife, named after Carrie Nation – a radical member of the temperance movement opposing alcohol in pre-Prohibition America – measures at 7% ABV and 88 IBUs. It employs Simcoe, Columbus and Centennial hops to produce notes citrus, tropical fruits and mango.
Available now in 650mL bottles at the brewery and the following week at LCBOs (#345579) at $5.95 each.
