Great Lakes/Phillips produce Puzzler Belgian Black IPA

Great Lakes Brewery and Philips Brewing Co., of Victoria, BC, recently combined efforts at Phillips’ facilities in Victoria to render a black IPA utilizing Northwest sourced hops and Belgian yeast.

Incorporating black malt and generous bitterness hopping, Puzzler Belgian Black IPA features a deep earthy-brown hue with roasted flavouring but a prominent hoppy profile, conceding a 9% ABV.
