Haters Gonna Hate Imperial Kolsch back from Beau’s

Vankleek Hill – Beau’s All Natural Brewing today announced the return of it’s Imperial-style Kölsch – Haters Gonna Hate – first launched in 2014.

Considered a beefed up version of its flagship Lug Tread, it sits at 8% and hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops for a described mango, papaya and musk notes.

“The concept behind the beer is a tribute to Batch #1 of Lug Tread. Due to some faulty beer-making equipment, it ended up accidentally ‘imperialized’ – that is, brewed to higher strength and intensity than intended,” describes Beau’s. “With the release of Haters Gonna Hate, Beau’s has opted to recreate this happy accident on purpose. In fact, the name of the beer is a bit of a cheeky tribute to those events as well.”

“We received some criticism in online beer forums for releasing it, but we firmly believed that despite the “haters hating,” it was still a great beer. We brought our very last keg of it to the Golden Taps awards in Toronto that August, and guess what – it won Best Beer of the Fest that night,” adds co-founder Steve Beauchesne.

Haters Gonna Hate is available this week across Ontario in the LCBO, brewery retail store, and better beverage bars on draught.
