Highlander launches crowdfunding for new brewery and school
South River, ON – Highlander Brew Co.’s new crowdfunding campaign has launched to support funding of its new South River brewery and brewing school.
With a target goal of $100,000, funds will support the construction of the new facility which will include a large community event space
“We have added a few fermenter tanks to the original brewery and have outgrown the small rented space we currently share with another local business. However the rest of the community has not grown,” says Highlander.
“Rather than move away, Highlander with the support of the local and regional community will create a destination brewery that would encourage tourism in the area and provide a focal point for music, art and social events. The new brewery will also become a brewer technician school in association with a local college. The village has secured funding for a new building to house the new brewery destination,” they add. “Now with some help from you we can complete the project.”
