Short Finger Brewing’s bottle shop now open
Kitchener – Homebrewing supply shop Short Finger Brewing Co. – which has started onsite commercial brewing operations – is set to open their bottle shop on Thursday June 21, 2018 at 20 Hurst Avenue.
Launched in June 2015 by Rob and Kat Hern, Short Finger Brewing expanded to a larger facility in February 2018 allowing for the addition of a nanobrewery.
Beer releases will include:
Bottles:
Ain’t No Sunshine: Barrel-aged Golden Sour, aged for 10 months with peaches ($9.50)
G Lite Foote: Whisky barrel-aged Golden Sour, aged for 9 months with oranges, lime zest and maraschino cherries ($8.50)
So it Gose: Blended barrel-aged Gose, brewed with coriander and sea salt ($7.00)
Draught/Growlers:
True Believer: American Pale Ale, dry-hopped with Citra and Simcoe
Short Shorts: Berliner Weisse, dry-hopped with Styrian Golding
Apricot Short Shorts: See above + apricot puree
Rhubarb Short Shorts: You know the drill + homemade rhubarb sauce
Ain’t No Sunshine Blend: ANS + Saison
Lando: Blended barrel-aged Sour Saison
Billy D. Williams: Barrel-aged Golden Sour (old, unblended Lando)
Some of the above beers are already available at bars in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
Although Short Finger’s tap room is still under construction, they will have draught pours available at their June 21 opening.
Going forward, bottle shop hours will be Fri 11am-7pm and Sat 11am-4pm.
