Indie Alehouse announces Cock Puncher Double IPA bottle release

photo 1Indie Alehouse of Toronto, ON today announced an new limited bottle release of its Cock Puncher Double IPA.

Developed originally as a collaboration with Sawdust City’s Handsome Sam Corbeil, Cock Puncher Double IPA hits the scales at 11% ABV and over 100 IBUs stemming from the use of 10 different hope varities.

“Prior to the advent of alcohol percentage and beer labels, Belgian Monks gave their strong beers scary names like ‘The Devil” to warn the locals this was not a light beer,” writes Indie Alehouse. “We like that tradition, and believe our Imperial IPA. which is as happy and strong a beer as you can find, now has a sufficient warning name.”

Cock Puncher Double IPA goes on sale Thursday, December 12 at Indie Alehouse available in 650mL bottles for $10 (includes tax and deposit) each.
