Interim closure for Last Castle Brewing

Port Stanley – Last Castle Brewing in Port Stanley’s Lake Erie Village is taking a hiatus, according to the London Free Press.

Part of The New New Age – a collective of community collective of a bistro, farm, and market – Last Castle Brewing opened in April 2016 at 286 Bridge St.

Brewing on the 1 hectolitre brewing system was “a side gig for talented brewer Aiden Norton of Railway City Brewing in St. Thomas,” says the London Free Press.

They add, “Its hiatus leaves open a couple of possibilities. The hope would be Last Castle relaunches at the New New Age herb farm so it can continue using Ontario-grown ingredients to produce interesting and flavourful beers, perhaps with a bottle shop and direct order business similar to Half Hours on Earth in Seaforth.
