IPA Challenge final four face off at Cask Days Festival in October, will upgrade venue in 2014
Four finalists from this past weekend’s 5th Annual Cask-Conditioned IPA Challenge, hosted at barVolo in Toronto, ON, will face off at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto on October 18-19, when the annual Cask Days Cask Beer Festival enters its 9th year.
Emerging in the finals from 32 entries battling it out over three, blind-tasted rounds are Hopfenstark Brewery (QC), Left Field Brewery, House Ales & Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery.
House Ales’ Westside IPA will battle Flying Monkeys’ Pink Dim IPA, while Left Field’s Resin Bag IPA throws down with Hopfenstark’s Post Colonial IPA.
Organizers have also revealed that the next iteration of the IPA Challenge, slated for its 6th year in April 2014, will move from barVolo and set up at “The Brickworks Pavilions” (Farmers Market) at Evergreen Brick Works while doubling to 64 competitors from across Canada.
