Kensington Brewing introduces Home Grown Porter

Toronto, ON – Kensington Brewing Co. today announced the release of its new Home Grown Porter brewed with fresh hops from its Kensington Hop Project.

“HOME GROWN is an experiment in sourcing hyper-local ingredients”, notes KBCo founder Brock Shepherd. “We used fresh Hallertauer hops grown in Kensington Market. We planted these hop vines with our own hands over a period of three years, it doesn’t get much more local than that”.

An unfiltered, medium bodied Porter brewed to 5.7% ABV with 30 IBUs,  Home Grown Porter is available on draught only at Snakes and Lagers, Valdez, Rose and Sons, Bar Volo, Only Cafe, Wvrst, Bar Hop and others across Toronto.
