Kentucky Common and Yuletide Barley Wine en route from Wellington
Wellington Brewery of Guelph, ON announced today two new upcoming releases in its series of Welly One-Offs.
Its new Kentucky Common, inspired by recent travels to Kentucky, packs the malt bill of a traditional bourbon, then subsequently sour mashed coming out at 4.5% ABV.
“With a slightly tart flavour and mild roasted malt notes, this is a delicious beer with a rich history,” explains Wellington.
Wellington’s Yuletide Barley Wine measures at 9.8% ABV with notes of chocolate, toffee and raisins.
“Best enjoyed in front of a roaring hearth with friends and family this holiday or cellared for future enjoyment!” says Wellington of its Barley Wine.
Kentucky Common launches Saturday, November 23 in 473mL cans followed by Yuletide Barley Wine on Saturday, November 30 in 750mL swing-top bottles. Both One-Offs will be available through the Guelph brewery in limited quantity.
