Kilannan Brewing wins funding from Meaford Dragon’s Den
Owen Sound, ON – Kilannan Brewing Co., who participated in the Meaford Dragon’s Den this past week, walked away with over $17,000 in funding for its Rockford brewery.
Founder Spencer Wareham indicated the funds would be used to expand his brewery capacity through additional fermentation tanks. The brewery currently churns out 200 hectolitres per month, and has grown by 350% since its launch in 2012, reports the Sun Times.
“I feel ecstatic I took a chance coming out here I missed the cutoff date last year I was really happy that it worked out this year,” Wareham said to the Sun Times.
Kilannan currently produces its Alt and Kölsch on a regular basis.
