Kingston breweries launch new passport
Kingston – A new passport program is out now from the five breweries situated in the city dubbing itself as the “craft beer capital of Canada”: Kingston.
“The city’s beer renaissance began in 1986 with the opening of the Kingston Brewing Company, one of Ontario’s first brew pubs,” the booklet reads. “In recent years, a host of award-winning brewers have set up in Kingston, and are producing innovative, tasty beers. Previously the nation’s capital, today Kingston is Canada’s first city of beer.”
The print-only passport is available for pickup at all five breweries including Kingston Brewing, King’s Town Beer, Riverhead Brewing, Spearhead Brewing, and Stone City Ales.
Consumers are encouraged to collect a stamp at each brewery redeemable when completely for a souvenir beer glass from Spearhead Brewing.
