Lake of Bays announces Lake Monster American Wheat, first in Wild North Series
Baysville, ON – Lake of Bays Brewing Co. today announced the release of Lake Monster American Summer Wheat, the first in its new Wild North Series of one-off beers.
Brewed to 4.2% ABV with 35 IBUs, the unfiltered Lake Monster American Summer Wheat honours the fabled “Lake of Bays Monster” sightings reported during the 1950-60s.
“This is no ‘monster beer.’ Light-bodied and refreshing, Lake Monster was developed to quench summer thirst,” describes Lake of Bays. “Crystal Malt provides a slight hint of caramel and toffee, bringing balance to the American style hops, procured fron Clear Valley Hop Farm in Collingwood Ontario.
Lake Monster American Summer Wheat launches this month at better beer bars in Ontario and is also available in 1.89L growlers at the Lake of Bays retail store.
