Lake of Bays unveils next in NHL Alumni series with China Wall Vienna Dark Lager
Lake of Bays Brewing Co. of Baysville, ON will introduce the second in its line of NHL Alumni Signature Series beers this December.
On the heels of its Top Shelf Classic Lager, Lake of Bays is gearing up to introduce its China Wall – Johnny Bower Vienna Dark Lager, named for the former NHL goaltender. This beer is first in the edition of Masked Men Series.
Bower, nicknamed the “China Wall”, took three Stanley Cup wins during the early 1960s with the Toronto Maple Leafs at the peak of his career..
Lake of Bays describe the aromas as toffee, vanilla, mild coffee, mocha and almond, finishing with dark fruits such as dates and figs and strawberry. Flavours are said to consist of toffee, toasted whole wheat and chestnuts ending with hints of mocha.
China Wall – Johnny Bower Vienna Dark Lager, measuring in at 7% ABV, is scheduled for LCBO shelves this December.
