Lake of the Woods releases 1907 Limited Edition Scottish Cream Ale
Kenora, ON – Lake of the Woods Brewing Co. has announced the release of its new 1907 Limited Edition Scottish Cream Ale, commemorating the 1907 Kenora Thistles’ Stanley Cup Championship.
Measuring at 4% ABV with 15 IBUS, the Scottish Cream Ale employs heather tips for bittering with four malts including Pale Ale, Rye, Wheat, and Oats and subtle hopping.
“Cara-crystal Wheat contributes caramel and toffee flavours as well as body and head retention,” says Lake of the Woods. “Rye adds a distinct spice. Oat is used for body and head retention. The beer is light, easy to drink, and yet still thought provoking.”
It launches Monday, January 6 at the brewery available in 1.89L growlers and on draught.
