LCBO announces Express kiosks to open in grocery stores
Recognizing increasing consumer demand, Ontario’s LCBO will introduce 10 new-concept LCBO Express stores into large grocery chains (yet to be announced) which will carry Ontario beer, wine and spirits.
“Ontarians have been asking for more convenience in where they purchase alcohol beverages,” explains Minister of Finance, Dwight Duncan. “They also have a growing interest in local wines. We are responding to the needs of consumers while also providing increased support for the Ontario wine, spirits and beer industry.”
The LCBO plans to open the Express stores within the next 12-18 months.
