LCBO forecasts $100 million increase in 2016 holidays sales

Toronto – In its Holiday Trends 2016 released today, the LCBO said it expects its holiday sales – the period between Nov 6 2016 – Jan 3 2017 – to increase by $100 million to $1.16 billion, up from last year’s $1.06 billion.

The busiest shopping days of the year are anticipated to be December 23, followed by Christmas Eve.  Sales on New Year’s Eve are about $38 million.
